New Android Phones

New Android PhonesWe’ve just added several new Android mobile phones to our beta testing inventory:

  • HTC 10: This phone boasts a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 12-megapixel rear camera.
  • Google Pixel: The Pixel stands out with its first-of-a-kind Android 7 experience. It features a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 821 processor (slightly faster than the HTC 10), 4GB of RAM, and a highly regarded 12.3-megapixel rear camera.
  • One Plus 3T: This popular phone offers a good balance between performance and price. It packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 821 processor (same as Pixel), 6GB of RAM (more than the others), and a 16-megapixel rear camera.

Two of these phones (The HTC 10 and the T3) are Android 6 devices, while the Pixel XL is our first out-of-the-box Android 7 phone (our other Android 7 devices are upgrades from Android 6).  We focused on phones this time around, but expect to be picking up some additional tablet hardware soon as well.

We’re committed to providing a comprehensive and up-to-date mobile device inventory for app testing.

This ensures that apps are tested thoroughly across a wide range of devices and operating systems. We constantly evaluate and expand our selection, and we’re thrilled to announce the addition of several exciting new phones to our beta testing program.

For those who don’t know, the HTC 10 and OnePlus 3T are both established Android 6 devices, offering a chance to test on a familiar and widely-used platform. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Google Pixel, our first device featuring Android 7 out of the box. This cutting-edge phone promises a smoother user experience, improved battery life, and access to the latest features.

These are just more tools for us to use for testing.  As leading companies continue to develop these incredible devices, we promise to stay on top of the market and keep our inventory current thereby continuing to expand our knowledge base.

We’re constantly evaluating our mobile device inventory and bringing in new devices to provide a broad pool for app testing.

Check back periodically to see what we’ve added, or if you’re interested in our full mobile inventory, contact us to receive a comprehensive mobile device list.
